I've been sewing and blogging for one whole year now! Has it really been a year since my best friend showed me how to thread my sewing machine and navigate an apron pattern? A whole year since my grandma walked me through my first dress pattern?
I started blogging when my neighbor showed me the adorable book she had ordered that had just arrived in the mail. She mentioned that she kept a family blog, one where out of state relatives could keep up on their family happenings, and that she could then order as an annual scrap book! What a fantastic idea!
Of course, once I started blogging about my little family, I stumbled on a whole new world full of talented individuals eager to showcase their projects and teach us newbies their ways. I could not resist and so I joined the ranks of a craft blogger and I have loved every second of this journey. In the one year that I have been learning how to sew, and blogging the journey, I have attracted over 60 followers and Sewing Our Life Together has been viewed some 17,000 times! I've made blogland friends, received the sweetest comments, and have been featured on a variety of great blogs that I totally idolize. Thank you all for being so awesome!
