Peanut butter marshmallow frosting

Today, I wanted to try something new. Ok, so most days I want to try something new. Today it actually worked out well so I thought I'd share the recipe. We enjoyed it with chocolate cup cakes, but it would also go really well with anything banana.

In a microwave safe bowl:
5 T. butter
2 T. milk
1/3 C. Creamy Peanut Butter
2 C. miniature marshmallows
Microwave for thirty seconds and stir. Heat longer if marshmallows don't completely blend.
Stir in 2 teaspoons vanilla.
Fold in powdered sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.

  1. Hi Jessica! I just saw your comment on my blog and I just want to say THANK YOU!!! You really are an inspiration to me! I looked at you Mormon.org profile, too...you are amazing! I wish I were as strong as you! Your testimony about your Mother is amazing, it gave me strength! Sometimes when a loved one is facing death we completely forget about the whole eternal perspective of the gospel of Jesus Christ. This horrible sheer terror of losing someone takes over and it is almost paralyzing! As I was reading about your mom, my Grandma and Grandpa came into my mind, and I pictured them coming to bring little Stephen home. I realized that if he dies, he won't be lost or alone, he will be on the other side of the veil in the arms of loved ones and we will see him again. It brought a much needed peace...THANK YOU! *Ugh, there I go, bawling like a baby again!* haha. I would trade every single ounce of craftiness I have in me for a strong testimony like yours!

    Love,
    Nat :)
